The National Association of EMS Physicians (NAEMSP) is a professional organization for EMS medical directors. Its members regularly write published, peer reviewed positions statements on topics from EMS care to response times. These papers are frequently published in Prehospital Emergency Care, but are available for download on their website. This a great place to start when considering standards of care and clinical considerations.
